Shipping & Refunds

SHIPPING POLICY:

We ship across North America (Canada and the US) using FedEx and UPS. Please note that if you live in a remote or rural location, the courier will often release packages to a third-party shipper adding additional days onto shipments. We will not be able to ship packages that take more than two days to arrive at your location, as we cannot ensure product quality. We will contact you before cancelling your order.

While we strive to provide accurate estimates for delivery times, please note that we are not liable for any shipping delays that occur after the package has left our facility. Delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Carrier delays

  • Customs clearance procedures (for international shipments)

  • Incorrect address provided by the customer

  • Any other unforeseen circumstances

Comeau’s Sea Foods Ltd is not liable for any damages, losses, or inconvenience caused by shipping delays. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

We will work with the courier to resolve any unforeseen circumstances. Our packaging materials are suited to keep the seafood product(s) cool while in transit; however, a lengthier delay could compromise the quality of the product.

All our products are perishable and require refrigeration or freezing to maintain freshness. In the event of a delay during transit, thawing of the product may occur. If the product is still cold and below 4°C (40°F) upon arrival, you can safely place it in the refrigerator and follow thawing instructions.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please contact us within 12 hours of delivery.

Please make sure someone will be present at the delivery location to ensure your package is not left where it cannot be refrigerated or frozen as soon as possible. Our gel packs will help to maintain your product(s) quality in transit, but your products should be frozen or refrigerated as early as possible.
